Richardson Jones creates flexible structure for property consultancy

Richardson Jones, accountants and business advisers in Marlow, Bucks, was recently asked by one of its clients, a successful international property consultancy, the most suitable way of bringing on board a new partner.

You might have a long-term plan, but things have a habit of changing and building flexibility in from the start makes it a lot easier to make changes further down the line. This particular consultancy was a limited company, making it more complex and costly to buy and sell shares. We helped them change to LLP status, giving them the flexibility to appoint new partners - and for partners to leave - in a straightforward manner.
